You will receive an invitation to join the Google Classroom within a week of joining. After accepting the invitation you will be receive notifications from the classroom, including scheduled classes. Notification can be adjusted in the Google Classroom settings to reduce the number of email notifications you receive. You can leave the class or mute all notifications at any time.
