What we're doing
The Ruth Stone House staff has done everything in its power to restore its namesake. From the thousands of volunteer hours to the hard work of a number of carpenters, architects, and engineers, lovers of poetry have worked side by side with professionals in the trades to bring the house back to life. Â
This plan to save the house is split into three phases: Phase One focused on vital repairs to structure of the house; Phase Two has focused on reinstalling utilities and finishing up the first floor main block; and Phase Three projects focus on the south wing and second floor.
