The Ruth Stone House staff has done everything in its power to restore its namesake. From the thousands of volunteer hours to the hard work of a number of carpenters, architects, and engineers, lovers of poetry have worked side by side with professionals in the trades to bring the house back to life.  

This plan to save the house is split into three phases: Phase One focused on vital repairs to structure of the house; Phase Two has focused on reinstalling utilities and finishing up the first floor main block; and Phase Three projects focus on the south wing and second floor.
